* Meetings and Seminars
- KDESci Group meeting (organizer: Changbom Park, cbp AT kias.re.kr): Usually two people give talks
about their research progress.
-- When: 1:30pm every other Monday (check the group calendar)
-- Where: seminar room, 1424 at building #1
-- Note: Please be ready to give a talk every ~3 months.
- Astro Lunch (organizer: Jaehyun Lee, jaehyun AT
kias.re.kr): Usually two people review recent papers for 30min
each. Free lunch will be served!
-- When: 12:30pm every Wednesday (check the group calendar
often)
-- Where: seminar room, 1424 at building #1
-- Note: Please be ready to review a paper every ~5 weeks.

* Using IDL
- You can use IDL only at KIAS servers (i.e. no license server
so as to use IDL in your computer. You can buy the license with
your research grant if you'd like to install one on your
computer).
- You need to first create an account at KIAS servers. Please
check the application forms at
http://cac.kias.re.kr/page-support-account.html
- To use it, you need to register network license
(only once!) using the following command: "
/usr/local/exelis/idl/bin/lmutil lmpath -override idl_lmgrd
1700@abacus4.kias.re.kr "
- You can then enjoy
IDL at BAEKDU and more...
- License server:
